I struggle to understand how a man with Mandelson’s shocking reputation for dishonesty, duplicity and disgraceful behaviour generally could possibly have possibly been considered suitable for the position in the first place.
Obviously, the notoriously avaricious and vain Mandelson wanted a top job….
……and was ruthless in calling in a favour or threatening to engage in blackmail……
……aside from Starmer’s huge incompetence, there is no other possible explanation.
